Students from the 1st Eleftherios-Venizelos Middle School in Chania and Izmir Private Çakabey Middle School in Turkey created a podcast about pollinators.

Biodiversity loss has a direct impact on wild pollinators. Bees and honeybees depend on wild, unmanaged land to survive. Their survival directly affects our survival as a species.

The pollinator gardens created at both schools have promoted biodiversity and helped against its loss because by providing plants, flowers and unmanaged land, wild pollinators, such as bees and honeybees, can forage for food. When wild pollinators forage, they promote plant biodiversity through pollination. Without pollinators, there would be no life on Earth!
