She studied in the acting school of the National Theatre and the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She worked as an actor, advertiser and public relations and communications consultant. After her retirement, she worked as a volunteer to the “Scouts of Greece” and the “Pediatric Trauma Care”. Since 2012 she has been responsible for organising all excursions of the HSPN to the Greek nature as a member of the Excursions and Events Committee.

She studied Hotel Business Management in Cyprus. She has attended seminars concerning quality assurance as an inspector, human resources management assessment, customer care and “e-commerce”. She worked for many years, first as an executive and later as a Managing Director, in major Greek hotel companies (MIDAS Hotels of the Plotin Group of Companies, Esperia Palace – Athens, Roda Beach – Corfu. Airotel Group, Mareblu Hotels, and others). She is active in the Hotel Managers Association of Athens as Secretary General, and she was a member of the Board of the Directors of the Federation of Hotel Managers of Greece, as a Public Relations Director. She has been an elected municipal councillor of Papagos, and, since 1968, a member of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women in Athens. At HSPN, she is active in the coordination of the “Green Key” programme.

Her first contact with HSPN was through the “Blue Flag” programme. Her love for the sea made her become involved as a volunteer for about 20 years. This occupation gave her the chance to get acquainted with the other programmes and activities of HSPN, in which she is greatly involved. She eagerly participates whenever needed.

She worked for 45 years in major foreign companies and organisations, mainly as a Board of Directors secretary and CEO office manager. When she retired, she became acquainted with HSPN coincidentally, through friends who knew about it and had participated in its activities. She grabbed the opportunity and availed herself, at first just for ‘’selfish’’ purposes, to fill her free time, but later because she really loved what is being done by the Society. She is mainly mainly in secretarial support. She has assisted Aliki Vavouri in organising the HSPN library.
