The impact of climate change on our planet will intensif, and will be felt most by our youth and future generations. Today's leaders must listen to their collective voice.

“We are Running Out of Time.

Quality climate education is critical if we are to equip people of all ages and in all places with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a future in which all can thrive.

Young people need to be recognised as leaders, placed at the forefront of the conversation about climate change and empowered through education.

We are calling on the world's leaders to provide us with the skills and training to build a sustainable world.

Our world is warming and to keep the increase to 1.5 degrees we need forward thinking, consistent policies and funding to help us reach Net Zero Emissions.

We are committed to help build a future that is inclusive and sustainable for all.

Show by your actions, not just words, that you are too”.

The message, delivered to the Secretariat of COP27 on November 8th during a symbolic ceremony, was accompanied by more than 800.000 supporting signatures, the call of thousands of citizens who participated in the activities held in 18 countries and the voice of 776.611 pupils from 105 countries which joined the ROoT Global School Action Day.

The Foundation of Environmental Education in partnership with UNESCO, main supporter of the relay, held a number of parallel events at the COP27 under the topic “Universalization of Quality Climate Change Education for All” emphasizing the message of the relay.
