The baton will reach Greece through Albania on the 24th October 2022. It will follow an off main roads route, to:
Kastoria – Kleisoura – Ptolemaida – Akrini – Veroia – Trilofo – Katerini – Platamonas – Gonnoi – Rodia – Larissa – Farsala – Domoko – Lamia – Kammena Vourla – Agio Konstantino – Skala – Martino – Akraifnio – Aliarto – Thiva – Oinofyta – Avlona – Afidnes – Marathona’s Dump – Marathon Route – Akropoli – Floisvo, from where it will sail to Cyprus on October 27th 2022.

Participants should be over 18y.o. and able to run 10 klm in less than 70minutes.
Be part of the history for the climate!
The opening ceremony will take place in COP26 host city Glasgow, Scotland on Friday the 30th September 2022.
The Relay route will be covered by runners and wherever needed by cyclists and sailors.
The message will be sealed in the baton to journey through 18 countries:
Scotland, Wales, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Israel and Egypt
The destination of the relay is Sharm el-Sheikh on November 6th, in time for COP27.
The relay baton is the symbol that champions the individuality in humanity and celebrates bringing people together.
The baton is a dedicated designed one for this relay, made out of only recycled materials, holding a GPS tracker so that people can watch via online map and a solar powered lighting.
It fits a special storage where the message from young people will be sealed in order to be delivered to the decision makers at COP27.
